‘Coolcower, near Macroom, Co Cork’ 2006 This is an ink wash of Coolcower House, near Macroom on the banks of the River Lee, that the Artist undertook in 2006.
Coolcower House is beautifully situated overlooking the river where many a fisherman enjoyed a day coarse-fishing on the waters edge. This historic house was built in the 1800s but was tragically burnt down in 1921. It was subsequently rebuilt in the traditional style. Later a large glass conservatory and lounge bar were added in-keeping with this country house style, blending seemlessly into the original house. Coolcower House has been welcoming visitors for sixty years...well worth a visit. Contact the artist directly for signed/stamped limited edition prints.
