‘Joni’s Tree Museum, Exhibits’ 2022
This is a pencil drawing that the Artist drew to highlight the need for us to spend more time in appreciating and understanding the interdependence in Nature and for us to realise that we need to find ways of bringing the balance back. Otherwise, it may be too late. This work is inspired by the words of singer/songwriter Joni Mitchell’s song ‘Big Yellow Taxi’...

They took all the trees and put 'em in a tree museum
And they charged the people a dollar and a half to see them
No, no, no
Don't it always seem to go
That you don't know what you got 'til it's gone?
They paved paradise and put up a parking lot
