In 1993, a visitor to one of the Artist's exhibitions commissioned him to paint this oil on canvas of one of their award-winning dogs, of which they had many. It was a really special gift to his wife. They had no family and she had limited mobility and was confined to a wheel-chair. She really, really loved these beautiful animals and would spend hours caring for them.
